Injection assisted by gas

The gas-assisted injection process (GAIM)
It is used to solve pieces with important over-thickness, gas is passed through the thick envelope and a piece is obtained without Sink Marks.

1 With overflow, the gas passes through the part while the plastic has not cooled and leaves the dislodged material in an auxiliary cavity (overflow).
2 With partial, almost complete, filling of the cavity with a conventional polymer, followed by the injection of a normally nitrogen gas.
